We welcome large groups up to 80 persons at Midgard Restaurant & Bar. Please drop us a line to reserve a table for groups of 15 and more. The group menu is for 15 people and more. Pick from our starters, mains and desserts and build your own 1-, 2- or 3-course menu. Please note, that one menu needs to be picked for the whole group (exceptions are allergies or other dietary requirements).
Celeriac soup garnished with deep fried dulse seaweed, herb oil and sesame seeds. Served with bread.
Baked Icelandic brie sprinkled with honey, dried fruits, nuts and with toasted bread.
Hot smoked salmon, mousse served with toast and Icelandic lumpfish roe.
Smoked arctic char on sweet rye bread and gravlax sauce.
Gardeners Pie, sautéed vegetables and legumes served under a coating of mashed potatoes (Vegan).
Traditional Icelandic leg of lamb, roasted whole leg of lamb served with traditional Icelandic side dishes: roasted potatoes, sweet corn, peas, rhubarb jam and a red wine reduction. Served whole on the table and requires some carving from the guests as at a traditional Icelandic family meal.
Blackened chicken, spicy chicken breast served with roasted potato wedges and yogurt and fresh herb sauce.
Lamb shank; slow cooked (for 14 hours) lamb shank served with mashed potatoes, red wine reduction and roasted carrots.
Arctic char; baked with a fresh herb and breadcrumb topping with mashed potatoes, brown butter and pickled carrots.
Adventure Burger; 140gr. of Icelandic beef with homemade sauce, lettuce, cheese and bacon jam.
Pot de Creme, thick and luscious dark chocolate ganache served with whipped cream and fresh blueberries.
Roasted apple halves served with skyr creme, white chocolate mousse, liquorice roasted hazelnuts and rosemary syrop.
