GROUP MENU

We welcome large groups up to 80 persons at Midgard Restaurant & Bar. Please drop us a line to reserve a table for groups of 10 and more. The group menu is for 10 people and more. Pick from our starters, mains and desserts and build your own 1-, 2- or 3-course menu. Please note, that one menu needs to be picked for the whole group (exceptions are allergies or other dietary requirements).

Starters

Soup of the day (we have several options to choose from). 2.250 ISK.

Baked Icelandic brie sprinkled with honey, dried fruits, nuts and with toasted bread. 2.700 ISK.

Smoked arctic char on sweet rye bread and gravlax sauce. 2.800 ISK.

Main Courses

Mushroom Cabbage Roll. Tender cabbage leaves with rich mushroom filling, served with XO mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, pickled red cabbage, topped with Jerusalem artichoke. 3.900 ISK

Traditional Icelandic leg of lamb, roasted whole leg of lamb served with traditional Icelandic side dishes: roasted potatoes, sweet corn, peas, rhubarb jam and a red wine reduction. Served whole on the table and requires some carving from the guests as at a traditional Icelandic family meal. 6.300 ISK.

Lamb shank; slow cooked (for 14 hours) lamb shank served with mashed potatoes, red wine reduction and roasted carrots. 6.100 ISK.

Arctic char; baked with a fresh herb and breadcrumb topping with mashed potatoes, brown butter and pickled carrots. 5.500 ISK.

Adventure Burger; 140gr. of Icelandic beef with homemade sauce, lettuce, cheese  and bacon jam. 3.600 ISK.

Desserts

Pot de Creme, thick and luscious dark chocolate ganache served with whipped cream and fresh blueberries. 2.100 ISK.

At Home In Iceland, whipped caramel mousse with oat cookie crumble, served with milk ice cream and a rhubarb caramel sauce. 2.400 ISK.

Seasonal dessert, for example: Poached rhubarb with a cream cheese mousse, homemade shortbread biscuit and a basil sorbet. 2.700 ISK.
